You step into an open house and the listing agent informs you that the building homeowners association is pursuing the developer and has filed a lawsuit as part of a claim. Perhaps the roof leaks (yikes!) or the stucco siding is letting in moisture (mold?). Either way it is generally not music to a buyer’s ears and definitely not ideal for the Seller. What shall one do?
