Burton Park has great features and wide range of amenities: horseshoe pits, picnic tables, and a large community center. It also boasts tennis and basketball courts, a softball field and best of all, clean bathrooms and street parking! Per Google maps and confirmed with our testing the park is an 11 minute walk from Wheeler Plaza’s Walnut Street entrance and a 7 minute walk from 1501 Cherry Street.

There are two separate play structures for toddlers and bigger kids. In the baby park area there are four large swings and baby swings that is fenced in, so parents can set their minds at ease. The older kids can enjoy a separate playground with a shaded climbing structure including slides and monkey bars.

Their dog park is also fantastic, with plenty of room to run and play with your pup!
