1501 Cherry Street – Enjoy Hometown Days in San Carlos!

Hometown Days is a traditional festival held in Burton Park at 1017 Cedar, just a short walk or 2-minute drive from 1501 Cherry Street. This year it will be held on May 19-21, and the dedicated committee has been planning an exciting weekend that brings in locals as well as visitors from all over the Bay Area!

History of Hometown Days

The festival dates back to the fall of 1979, when a group of community volunteer members along with then-Mayor Pat Bennie created an event that aimed to bring people together across the community. The first event took place in September 1980 and it’s grown from strength to strength ever since, bringing in over 12,000 guests from every corner of an increasingly diverse community.
